IBPS PO prelims exam is almost concluded all over India and now it's time to focus on IBPS Mains examination. This year 4455 vacancy reported of IBPS PO and it's a good opportunity for all aspirants to take a seats in IBPS PO exam. Now let's talk about the IBPS PO Mains strategy which help a aspirants to clear mains examination.

As we know that there are 5 section in IBPS PO Mains. English language, Data Analysis and Interpretation, General Awareness, Reasoning Aptitude and descriptive section. All these sections are equally important. Many aspirants make a mistake to choose hard subject like math and reasoning and devote maximum time on that which affect their easier subject like English which is comparitably easy as compare to Maths DI and Resoning. It's Recommended to first focus on subject which is easy and always devote some time to these subjects daily. Don't completely ignore these subjects. Now, let's discuss the preparation strategy of each individual subject in details.

Preparation of IBPS PO Mains Subject

English language: As we know that English language is scoring subject of ibps po mains so we need to maximum focus on English section. The first thing we start from reading. Reading the news paper magazines editorial online sources or books help to understand the concept of paragraph. If you go through grammar rules then after some time it's feel boring and the rule revision on exam hall is always a challenge. In banking exam the question is not completely grammar based. If you have ability to pick the mistake or grasp the matter then rest of things will be a cakewalk. Special focus on reading financial portion and editorials also help on your General Awareness section. But if you feel boring then leave it and read the section you want. 

Data Analysis and Interpretation: Mostly people face difficulty in this section because it requires speed as well as conceptual clarity. Also note that which question is do able or which question is not is also need to understand in examination hall. The DI asked in PO mains has a mix of Arithmetic section like average, percentage, ratio etc. To prepare DI refer YouTube videos that help to clear the concept and also give a right approach to solve the questions. Apart from that focus on mock test and when submit the questions, check the detailed solutions and get the conceptual clarity. It's a difficult subject of most people so, Do practice regularly and it will benefit alot.

General Awareness: This section is also a challenge of many aspirants. The questions asked by IBPS is throughly unexpected. They checked your knowledge about the schemes or major development. The suggestion is start reading financial editorial, get understanding of RBI policy, financial schemes of Govt. of india, important initiative etc. 

Reasoning Aptitude: it also a challenge for aspirants because the questions asked in reasoning in pre exam is very easy as compared to mains the puzzle are always time consuming. A aspirants whose speed and accuracy is top notch also have to clear only 1-2 puzzles out of 5 or 6. The most important in this section is choose puzzle which you think you can solve. Do not touch the puzzle which you think it's difficult because at middle if you leave it. It consume your precious time and effort. Practice puzzle in time and clear all other topic like input output, syllogism, coding decoding, Blood relation etc.

Computer Aptitude: for computer Aptitude you can refer some computer books like Arihant objective computer or online classes on YouTube.

Descriptive Section: All other topic requires hard practice but with little writing practice and writing skill you can get 15-20 out of 25 marks in your examination. In letter you can write formal or informal but try to practice the formal one. From eassey Its expected from you to read newspaper daily. From there you get some clarity from starting of paragraph boday and a whole story conclusion. Practice about Sustainable development goals, RBI Policy, Inflation, Unemployment, Government schemes related essays. you can practice 5-10 eassey before exam and you are done with it. 

Topic to Prepare in IBPS PO Mains

In Quantitive aptitude percentage and average this topic need thorough clarity as it also help in DI section. Prepare well this topic. Apart from that practice simplification and approximation, Quadratic Equation and Quantity 1 Quantity 2 type questions, this will help to improve your score in Quant.

In Reasoning Aptitude Puzzles are Mostly in the paper like seating arrangement floor based linear row and blood relation. Choose the questions which you can solve. These puzzle looks easy but when you solve then there is some twist which might tough to get through.

General Awareness is scoring among all in mains. Just focus on General Awareness by many PDF of Adda or Testbook. Try to cover GA as much as possible from YouTube or Telegram PDF, Take Adda GA free Capsule PDF. As much knowledge and as much clarity you have in GA. The better you score in exams.

Tips while preparing IBPS PO Mains 

First It's recommended that you have your own strategy as per your comfort. If you face any difficulty in any questions then clear the concept from YouTube videos it will help.

Second you have some strong and week points. In mains preparation quants and reasoning are generally on tougher side so the need is to gain maximum scores from other sections like English and general awareness. If you feel demotivated while preparing for mains examination it's common because questions are not easily solve here. You need to put efforts and everyone preparing for it facing same challenges. So just be motivated towards your goal.

In preparation time just put all your efforts on this attempt because this study save you from future years of preparation. Stay away from negativity, avoid social media and be loyal to your preparation. Use your time efficiently and be the Josh high.
